I was inspired by the band Wave to Earth’s music and wanted to show places which represent moments of stillness, to show their calming nature and ability to station my ideas into finished artworks. The fluidity of film was used to prevent my exhibition from being stagnant and limiting when considering varieties of music, and to visually depict my change in thought. The last scene shows the band flowing off screen, following my “train of thought” which guides the viewer away from the screen, back to their own ideas.
